You would think that only a complete idjut would be capable of putting their props on backwards yet agin ...welcome to Oldgitworld.

It was only when I had let go and was drifting away from the berth that the discovery was made..........Sigh.
Curiously difficult to get the hang of things when its all reversed and all.......

At least you will be able to spot us very easily when we arrive outside the lock going backwards in a few weeks time.
 
I'm so glad -

that my prop (sorry only one) is on an Admiralty taper...

Even so, it took me a few minutes to work it out.

We connented the morse control cables up wrong once, so go forward it was foreward on the Port lever and astern on the starboard one. Which was OK till we had to moor up with an outgoing rushing tide on the Mudway. luckily we had long ropes.
