It’s all Nicks Fault

Completely agree, I get great satisfaction from doing stuff on the boat, I no longer work on my cars, to many electronics, but the boat is different and doing the small jobs is very satisfying.

I had a justification day yesterday, SWMBO was busy, beautiful weather so I took the boat up Beaulieu River and a blat across to the IOW, I saw one other boat out all day, flat water, so had to spin about to play in my own wake  crisp and cold then back on the mooring for a cuppa and a pork pie, not a bad way to spend a Sunday.

Now that does sound like a good day

In fact getting out in winter is even more satisfying, sometimes (well, always!) it requires a bit more effort and layers but those days feel like bonus days
