I am looking to install one of these units. It states that the unit is good for an 8 litre cooler box. Mine is 90 litres! What is the best fix for this. There is a drain hole in the bottom.
Can I just add freezer blocks or water bottles to fill the space or must I be more scientific?

These units have a good sized evaporator plate so could probably cope with the larger size box provided it was well insulated. When I installed one several years ago I added several layers of 25mm Celotex, you cannot have too much insulation.

A cork in the drain hole is a good idea. As ithet says it should have no problem coping with the extra 10 litres provided that the box is well insulated.

Yes! it should read 80!

It has a valve on the outside, wish I'd thought of a cork!

There is a minimum of 100mm foam all around, much more in places. I don't have access to the insulation any more.
