Does anyone have a fridge with a danfoss compressor mounted so that they can see the fan?

I have an Isotherm fridge unit with one of these compressors, and when the fan starts up, it often makes a noise which sounds as if the fan is loose. The trouble is, it is mounted in such a way that I can't clearly see how the fan is attached to its spindle, i.e. is there a nut or screw that might be loose? I don't want to take the whole thing off if there's nothing I can do to sort it!

Tried e-mailing Danfoss, but no reply!
 
At a guess these are just standard 12v fans similar to a PC fan. They dont tend to come undone very easily and when they do get old sound as if something is loose. PC fans are normally just push fit i think.

They usually have self tapping screws from the outside of the condenser into the fan in the middle. Not easy to get at in situ usually but you can unscrew the unit from the floor and carefully swing it in to the boat without bending the pipes too much. you can then get at them easily. ( this is assuming a standard under galley installation)
 
Thanks for the suggestions. I have the original manual, but it doesn't show what I want to see. Anyway, it sounds like it will be worth unscrewing it to have a look - if I can't fix it a server fan or similar seems a good idea.

I have just taken my new one out the box to have a look (Isotherm GE80 with Danfoss compressor). It has a 4inch 12v computer fan which is positioned within the cooling coils and simply held in place with cable ties - maybe these have come loose? The centre of the fan is covered by a label so no screws visible.

That's brilliant - just what I needed! Mine is a bit different, a 3000, but I suspect it's the same principle. Thanks very much for taking the trouble.
