Two thirds of my cars don't have or need MOTs.
Is that the front two-thirds or the back two-thirds?

So what has happened have there been any cases on the Isles of Scilly?
I realize you're joking!
I thought the Isles of Scilly were part of the UK (unlike the Isle of Man and the Channel Isles), and hence subject to the same legislation about tax, MOT etc. as the rest of us. Tax and MOT are very efficiently policed by the DVLA in my neck of the woodsI suppose there's less chance of being caught by ANPR cameras.
Had an old VW type 2 for 15 years did not need one either , but I always got one every year so that I knew she was a safe wee girlTwo thirds of my cars don't have or need MOTs.
It's getting increasingly hard to find MOT testers who know how to test old cars. It's all supposed to be in the system, but they often don't bother to look. I gave up on one place near here when they failed my DS for "completely inoperative parking brake", which puzzled me because it had worked fine on the way there. Then a little lightbulb went on above my head. "Which wheels did you test? " I asked. "The back ones, of course" he replied.Had an old VW type 2 for 15 years did not need one either , but I always got one every year so that I knew she was a safe wee girl![]()
