mmm, that interesting, my SWMBO is not going either. I haven't had a chance to speak to my daughter yet, but since she's only 6 I doubt she is going, so there's another 2 people not going..

All I hope for the organisers is they can find at least half a dozen locals to attend, otherwise it will be a total disaster!
 
it just seemed really quite funny at the time......

...even funnier is I really would like to go, Neil Young is playing who would be superb IMO... also the Prodigy (I'm sorry to say also legendary IMO)... plus sterophonics & razorlight... quite happy to give them a miss!

I'm going with Deano and a few others. Looks like I'll be spending the weekend with 50,000 unwashed hippies rather than the intellectual types on here /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
We're not going and can see and hear it from our back garden.

In fact not only are we not going but we are taking the boat over to the Hamble for the weekend to get further away from it.

We will have to wend our way through all the onboard listeners (the trees have grown this year so there won't be much of a view) in the Medina on Sunday afternoon to get back to Newport - I wonder if they know they will all have to leave just as Neil Young comes on, otherwise they will be stuck until the early hours.
