maybe 500quid update on the e/r sound insulation and a pair of ear plugs would do?
Hm, it's high freq so maybe 300quid?

I did. Unfortunately my lower cockpit has a great feature that allow you to fold away all the seating within the topside cavity. Very useful, downside though is it amplifies certain noises.
