Island hopping

Bouba, nice photos and places, well done!
however, you seem to be there alone, no hordes of boats that we usually see in the other places, so what's the catch? why don't some of that lot come to these small isles then?
or put it another way, what percentage of the boats we see in the boatsoup pics you and others post of SOF anchorages are used solely as dayboats?

It was beautiful boating weather but we were there on week days. I suspect that the weekends are a different story
There is a lot of day boating because Embiez island is very very close to the mainland and there are a number of ports in the area, but there were some cruisers there, the port was nearly full (probably mostly place owners) and a few at anchor for the duration we were there. Come the summer I wouldn’t be surprised if you could just about walk across without getting your feet wet!

Convincing my wife that these few perfect moments are worth all the year round effort and expense is my full time occupation (but they truly are worth it )
