Although size matters, it is what you do with it that counts ...
No point having a 50ft monster yacht if you can't afford to take it out for the weekend!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Jissel is a proper little boat, tough as old boots, but light enough that when skill fails, brute force can usually cope, even my limited supply thereof. With a little bilge keeler, I can do things and go places that I wouldn't want to risk in a big fin keeler.

Ha. Lift keel 35, goes in creeks drawing 3 feet, and takes the ground. Then we are off over the big boys soup, and we draw 7 feet, in Category A comfort. Answer: My Sun Odyssey 35.... and for lots less than your suggested 6 figures... 5 does it comfortably including every gadget known to The Marine Toy Shop. Used exmples will require a limb less than a new one.

We'll look to upgrade to something around 37 feet when we can afford it, for the space and the legs..... and that'll do us for a good few years then, until we can afford a 40ish footer, and retire to a life of warmer waters and no pressure!
Could be next year, could be 5 years away..... who knows....
