Might be as well check everything again when they have finished.
Trouble is we can check what eventually appears on the ITU database but not the info the Coastguard have which is what is more relevant to the vast majority of us.
Perhaps with your contacts you could find out if there is any way we can check but I guess the CG would not want us all to ring them periodically to check. Would it be something that could be done when advising them of departure on major trips?

If/when I sort out my own queries on Monday with Ofcom (hope they don't change my MMSI, it's already in my new, non-Silva VHF set!!) I'll do some digging at the MRCC and see what I can come up with.

Hi,
I have a similar problem and need to reset the MMSI on a S10 radio on a boat I have just purchased. The radio was fitted without the MMSI programed and I used the one from my previous boat so that we could complete the delivery trip with a radio. Can yo let me know the key sequence so that I can sort this out.
