I have a permanent berth in Beaucette....and larger boats than mine come in and out regularly!
If the number of people that were stood at the entrance is anything to go by, it would seem that the locals consider a boat coming into their marina a spectator sport!

Just out of interest Piers, are there any reports of any boats actually coming into contact with the sides? Certainly had us on edge last year but suspect it looks worse than it really is.

I never think photos of Beaucette's entrance do it justice, just looks like wide gap in rocks, however in reality it is a small channel of high sided rock cliffs you pass through!
Just found this, good video on Beaucette. Shows entrance off well from 4m50 seconds onwards
There used to be an 80' Azimut berthed there that you can see in the background of the opening still, so not so difficult after all?
no, video shows grey bear ii, a fairline squadron 74
A 74 foot still demonstrates the possibilities!!
