Any other opinions? Tomorrow is the D day...
Today was a very scarry day... after several tests in the rain, a couple of sunny days revealed this. In reality not as bad as it looks in this pictures.. but it looks to be inside the windshield LAYERS but i might be mistaken... any clue on how much does it cost to replace a windshield (for worst case scenario?...)...

The water in the bilge is definitely not coolant, it’s just water.
As to the windshield ... a new windscreen might be £10,000+, but why would that be needed unless it was broken into lots of pieces? Re-sealing a leaky windscreen should be relatively straightforwards. Cleaning it, even more so.

What colour is your coolant colour and check level in both engines?
I believe those are D series engines check the cooler end caps and all connections.

The wondscreeen looks like mine when the sun netting removed. Just clean it. If it is the screen then get the vendor to sort

Have you tried to rinse with a dock water hose .....? Looks like normal salt / muck residue on the outside .
How ever if Iam wrong and it’s between the various laminations ....then that’s a big problem .
How many boats , and how experienced are you ? ........will help us pitch answers at best the helpful level .

Ah, the dreaded finger tip taste test is required. Is it salty, is it fresh, is it bitter with antifreeze. Smell first in case it's black water. Have something to spit into and a big gin to rince your mouth out with. Good luck.

Hello to all, thank you for the help!
The liquid is from cleaning, I felt the texture and smelled it, nothing. Rechecked by broker. So good to go.
The broker was there today and checked the screen. He agrees it is not in usable condition. It will be polished and put at 100%. The D day has been rescheduled for next week.
So far so good, although with a little delay! :encouragement:

I was not there but as far as i know, it was the engine room and deck but didn't finish the cleaning. The engine where not even started.

Re Ownership depends what the contract says .I suspect you own no part of it .The deposit is just part of early a contractual part of the buying process which eventually when the balance is paid you get 100 % ownership in a written agreement.
Handing over a deposit just locks out other buyers and kinda commits the seller to sell to you without you both forfeiting .
Ideally the deposit should be held in escrow , or secondary with an intermediary like the broker .
Contract you entered into should outline explicitly the terms and conditions of holding and refunding the deposit .
At the moment I suspect you own zero % .
