Is there another forum we can go to?

Jimmy, it's not only the last couple of weeks but the last few months and despite the moderators assurance, it still goes slow for no apparent reason (like this morning). There is definitely a reduction in posting traffic not only on the mobo forum but in the lounge as well and it is complete lunacy for IPC to let this situation drag on given the advertising potential of the site and it's regular audience. I have even taken to typing posts on a word document before copying and pasting it onto the forum because I've lost too many posts in the ether thanks to the forum breaking down. I'm definitely using the forum less and it will decrease further if this continues which is a shame because it used to be a lot more fun than working

'Lost' the Site.
Scrounged a puter off hlb, mine was goosed.
Back on Broadband since a couple of days ago too.

Also finding this Forum slow to very slow on occasions.
Thought it was me or me pute.
This one I rescued off hlb is much better.
However it's still laborious on here at times.
Doesn't seem to be a Pattern.
Time of day whatever.
Just seems random to Me.
Last night it was quick enough.

I have just started a board http://www.multihulls4us.com which is just beginning to take off.

I would happily start a MoBo forum based on the same principles with free classified adverts, links library, product review section, free blog etc etc.

All I would need is some volunteers to manage it 0 takes an hour or so a week if that.

So take a look - if you like it I will set it up at no expense to anyone.

I just registered in your forum, and saw that fantastic cruising machine they're building for you.
You're flying there to see the progress every other week I guess?

I am editing a 40 minute documentary on the St Francis now - that will go one the new site.

I spent a couple of weeks down there in (our) wintertime some years ago, beautiful.
