I have a deck flood light that takes the GE 4593 28V 50W bulb. It is rarely used by seems to fail after 2 years of being bounced around on the mast. I have done a quick Google but there does not seem to be an obviously LED equivalent. I am assuming that a solid state LED would last longer and save my going up the mast

If anyone has an alternative, I would be most intersted

Thanks

The boat lamps one looks good for attachment to a spreader. The problem with LEDs is that they tend to shine in one direction only. (which is what you want) They are then often mounted around a stem to emulate a filaiment bulb. If you use one of them they need a reflector to get the light back in one direction. Firther high powered lED often need a heat sink. All this means you are really better looking for a new fitting with LED rather than looking for a replacement LED bulb. There are good chaep LED flood lights from China. I am not sure about running on 24v system. Might need a power converter. good luck olewill
Two of these in series might work OK
