Is there an "Autotrader" for boats

Hiya,

I tend to look on "The Yacht Market" for what's out there - it seems to catch most of the boats on the other sites out there (Boats and Outboards, Apollo Duck, Boatshed etc) but I wondered if there was one overall default site, where pretty much EVERY boat for sale in UK at the moment is listed, rather than having to scroll through lots of smaller sites.

I always think Autotrader + eBay will cover 99% of the cars for sale at any one time, so is there a boat equivalent or is "The Yacht Market" essentially that?

I remember looking more deeply at the boat listing sites a couple of years ago and found there was a publishing service and also some sharing/syndicating arrangements between sites so while I can't say where there is one site with all boats you will likely find most boats on most sites (plus eBay of course)..

Personally I tended to use "Theyachtmarket" simply because the site worked nicely vs some of the others that are painful with very small photos..

I thought the yacht market only includes boats for sale through brokers, not private sales? If that's the case then it won't include some boats advertised on the other sites you've mentioned. I think the site you're looking for is Google, as you can then track down every boat for sale of a particular model.

One of the best sites I've found when looking for almost anything is newsnow, I'm guessing it's some kind of web trawler
