Is there a PM mailbox limit?

Hi - my PM's don't seem to be getting through even though I can see them in 'sent items'. Could this be due to the recipients being over their mailbox limit? Would they get a 'mailbox full' notification?

there's a limit. 400 for a short while, then it will go to 200 afaik. The recipient just gets no PM mail, he doesn't get a message telling him to weed his inbox, he has to figure it out for himself. I dunno what error message the sender gets
