Is there a cure for Scuttlebutt addiction?

Try doing cold turkey.

Climb up your mast without a WiFi connection and wait for the demons (forumites with over 5,000 postings) to chase you to enternity.

Couple days later you will be fine.
 
Just stay out of The Lounge.
PBO is full of Pipe smoking/slipper types that mean no harm, Bless them.
Mobo chat is good light hearted stuff if a bit Bling.
Just stay out of the Lounge.
Classic boat, well that just makes PBO Look like Rocket Science.
Liveaboards, thats where all the tax dodgers and DHSS Collect.
Good tips there on Claiming stuff etc etc.

You see Scuttlebutt is just an arrangement of lost souls that mean no harm but haven't got SKYE TV or a Digi Box.
Quite nice people really but generally have lost their way in life.

Mobo Forum is good for a laugh though listening to how much diesel they go through!

Not as such. However, there is a form of treatment available FOC from ybw.

Visit the Lounge 3 times per hour at two hourly intervals for 7 months. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids during each visit.

3 Times an hour? But it takes me an hour to trawl through the latest offerings on PBO forum, and another to do Scuttlebut, then there is Mobo forum and Classic forum, and you have to move really fast to get a bargain off the For Sale forum before some other so and so has nipped his PM in ahead of mine.... and I just CANT leave it till I have checked it all out.

So sorry - thats not a solution for the hardened forum addict.

(And of course I am not admitting anything saying that, i can handle it, and take a ten minute break any time I like /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif)
