Is Semi-Displacement Hull better than Deep V Hull ?

House / land based accommodation = swing o meter moves away from floating apartment tea tray hulled robotically parked boat .You will get bored D speeding in urban areas .

Offshore is where you wanna be or will end up island hopping .For that you need a suitable hull backed up with sufficient Hp so you can cover distances quickly..
Plenty about . Take a peek at Magnums for starters .

Do you mean a loo? Galley? Cabins? Whatever, think again.
Here are some pontoons with all of that, and much more, as spotted by truly yours in the good old US of A.
You can't make this stuff up... :ROFLMAO:

PS: Before you mention elegance, try to fit a waterslide in the Absolute, and you'll tell me how much nicer she will look...

Arrrghhhh......i see what you did there.

You knew what i was gonna say about the lack of a toilet and youve sneakily moved the conversation from small river 'Pontoon's' to massive 'Houseboats'

Clever (y)

Well, that's just semantic, sort of.
Technically, I think it's fair to say that the ones in my pic are also pontoon boats - just larger than the one in yours.
If we should qualify boats depending on their usage, most if not all boats in South FL are actually just party boats, regardless of types/shapes/sizes.
The only partial exception being sportfisherman boats, of which there's plenty, in fairness.
If nothing else, those actually go out there for some trolling, in between one party and another...

I was really surprised when i realised they didn't have a toilet.

These boats are used for parties and fishing trips

Out all day drinking beer, downing shots and eating hot wings.

With a Pontoon i wouldnt be worrying about IPS but IBS

Heres a low cost solution though

Yeah, who needs black tanks after all?

Reminds me of an arguably not so elegant, but actually the most practical urinal that I've ever seen in a boat.
A fully customised 63' steel trawler, built like a battleship and ice rated.
The first owner, after going RTW with a sailboat, built her with Anctartica in mind, and upon delivery he seatrialed her by going from Nova Scotia to Bermuda.
But in order to make a proper shakedown, before going out there he waited till gale force winds were predicted, just to give an idea of his attitude.
Back to the point, he asked the builder to fit a small s/steel urinal right inside the portuguese bridge.
Only a couple of meters from the p/house side door, and in a very convenient position to keep watching ahead while under way.
I kid you not.
