Is MattS a pseudonym for John Matthews??

MBY this month and there's a jolly good article on trading up from a Targa 48 to a Leopard 23 written in Matts inimitable style. So why hide behind an alias? Is he frightened one of his clients will spot his name in print and start checking their invoices? Is he trying to avoid paying the tax on his income as a freelance reporter? Or of course is Matts the alias? Or is it all totally innocent and Matts was just the interviewee and I've got the wrong end of the stick?

These things and more we must be told.

No, Matt has starred before in MBY under his own name, if memory serves, and with a mug shot as well so this must be a spectacular coincidence. I mean, surely a man of such literary wit would not choose such a staggeringly mundane nom de plume after all
