Am I missing something here... in FLAT mode there is a set of brackets which indicate who the poster is reponding too yes?

This apart from being in chronological order which helps anyway

OK, I see confusion. Say there's a long thread.You've posted say ten times. I've just responded to one of your messages from a week ago, and not the one you posted 10 minutes ago. In flat mode you can see someone has responded to you, but not which message

Yes Brendan what I do if loads of responses and I want to find response to mine I go into flat mode then scroll down past my last post (chronologically see) and Bingo. Now this is aided of course by my changing the title ont fred in the first place, thought probably a bit naughty

And just by opening the thread I can see instantly who has responded by the changed title

Went to the Marina and the lecky had tripped out.
May as well not bother with the heaters if the leckky is gonna fail.
They say they check it, but the fridge was defrosted and the water was warmish, must have been out for at least a day.
Perhaps I will trade in for a Caravan
