Just replaced my old RL70C color pathfinder plus and radar. It works well but is it worth anything?
Is it best to wait for the spring?
I’m in Birmingham so would probably have to post it to a buyer (not much demand on the canals!) which will cost more than it’s worth.
Can’t bring myself to bin it.

+1 for eBay. I reckon you will get circa £400 for that lot, so definitely don't bin it.

edit: or put it on the for sale forum here for £360 as you will save £40 in ebay fees

Have bought and sold preloved Raymarine stuff on ebay .
Still a demand out there for both second station upgrades and replacement bits of kit.
Connecting cables "which do suffer from wear and tear" can be worth as much as the displays themeslves.
Analogue radar connecting cables and power leads can demand suprising amounts of money and rarely appear.
Need to exercise a bit of caution as not all units work together.
Up sizing displays ie. from RL70 to the RL80 is really cheap way of improving your system as straight swap.
Some folks might consider more modern units with smaller screen sizes to offer precious little advantages over older big screen versions.
Perhaps it depends on your eyesight. :)

No need to pay daft money for Raymarine GPS receiver, lots of perfectly good clone GPS receivers on ebay for around £90.00.

Thanks oldgit very useful post. I’m now wondering if it’s best to sell split up.

Might well be, since a lot of buying of old Raymarine kit is in order to keep existing systems running. But do put links in each item pointing to your relevant other bits, in case someone does need multiple parts or even a full old system for some reason.
