My mate is looking to buy a new Jeanneau Leader 805 (27.5ft) fitted with Volvo KAD43P DP (230hp) diesel.

Anyone got any experiance of this boat and could give advice on the good and bad points ??

So,.. he knows the warranty inside out then......ooh, bit low that one!

OK, to hell with it. Unbolt it and we'll use it as an anchor!
 
Engines are still out awaiting parts, following that "little incident"

Excellent - Took all six (6) of us in perfect comfort up the river the other day no problemo.

I took her out on my own opened it up and it got up on the plane and ooooopppppsss whats the speed limit - throttle back and relax !!! :-)))))))

Just got back from Alderney today in a F6 from the NW and I was heading SW had her up to 24 knts at one point took 1.75 hrs and had to go behind Herm it was so rough, all on board got wet but the boat handled the large waves very well with 7 on board and luggage. Great boat but you wil get wet in ruff weather but none the less good sea boat. Everyone knows about my problem so dont go fishing with it over overfalls with the engine off!!!!

Mine might be for sale soon if he wants it ;-)
