Anyone remember Desmond Decca? Trying to fish a wreck at different times of the day could be a little frustrating!
Is GPS better at midday than it is at 7am?

Yes I had a Decca once.
Decca could be very repeatable.
The 'navigators' didn't give quite the right answer but they could be very consistant.
When you swapped from one chain of stations to another, it all went a bit vague though.
This used to happen quite close to Cowes entrance, where the little green numbers could say we were doing 15 knots.
