irrational liking for a Maramu

Does the Super Maramu have some weird sort of faux/plastic teak decking?

Yes & it doesnt wear our with scrubbing either so saves a fortune & you get more relaxing beer time too

It doesn't get as hot underfoot as teak but in fact it costs more and so it's not a cost saving issue.

Also the faux teak seems to shrug off stains that would drive the owner of a teak deck to murderous rage.

Just had a virtual dekko at the inside of one. I can't say the blue check soft furnishings appeal, but the rest of the interior looked like a proper boat: mid/dark wood(s) etc. None of that modern plastic beech/oak which makes modern boats look so stark (to my eye)

It would be the matter of only a few grand to have the soft furnishings redone in antique maroon leather and add the odd tigers head to the wall :0)
