For a quick west coat extension to a SW coat cruise - from Dingle head north through Blasket Sound to Kilronan on Inis Mor the largest of the three Aran Islands at the mouth of Galway Bay. Cross to to Roundstone to get a close look at the Twelve Bens mountain range and on to Inishboffin. All magical places and well described in the cruising guides.
 
Does 29 feet qualify as a little ship? At the time we visited we found Kinsale to be quite expensive, especially for eating, I guess maximising their reputation. I didn't find the town particularly attractive.

29ft? yes, little ship. I was referring to the geography of the place... I loved it. HM was particularly welcoming. Cork is BIG... you get lost...

But I agree that the town is a bit of a honey-pot. Some nice eateries, though :).
