we are about to embark on our first adventure and purchase our first live-aboard boat.(and all that entails..he-he)
are there any of you living in ipswich marina ??? if there are any of you out there you keep very hush hush, can i join the clan or do i need a special sign ?

Welcome! The burgee mentioned from HLB, will mark you as a Forum nutter, lotss of us about, I'm sure there will be some Ipswich liveaboards around! Theres lots of info and hints and tips on here, check out all the forums, not just this one.

There are a few who liveaboard in Ipswich marina l believe, fraid l resort to the New Cut coz its a lot cheaper, there are one or two character's there tho who make it bearable !!!

Hi, Wife and myself live in IPS, we are about to purchase our first livaboard. Currently got a 21ft Vivacity moored in the cut. Great fun, love every moment of it.

Seems a popular place. We have just purchased a liveaboard and are hoping to spend a couple of years in Ipswich getting her ready for the big wide world.

ta for your reply. we will be mooring in the neptune for starters but would like to move over "the road" opposite when berth becomes available.
going through final stages of deal so i cant commit on the boat as yet.
all a bit of new area at present as we have only sailed in smaller craft but exciting though ???
coarses to be done and lots of handling. so if you will be needing a cup of sugar or gin then we will be most pleased to meet you.
