Still looking for the photo of Dave Marsh with a dipstick in his hands (leave it!) stood between two of the four engines........the moderators would probably sanction it anyway!
I have found this one, with no Dave in it, but it does show the space between the engines. Click on it and it should increase the image size.

Well, to be honest, your pic makes me think that Banjansailor's question was a very good one...
If you say that it's possible to squeeze between those engines, I take your word for it of course.
But if I should work on a hot engine, possibly in the middle of a rough passage, between the engine room you posted and the one below I know which one I would prefer, if given the choice...
Not a fair comparison, I know - though this boat is actually smaller - but you get my drift.

Nice M, but I think I would prefer two motors with oodles of space , you could have a party in there!
