Guess what, I'm still waiting on this months MBM.

Just phoned IPC, to see where it is, Got the usual recorded messsge saying i was in a queue, So was on hold for 10mins, then another message came on, "Due to a high demand for this service we are unable to take your call, Please phone back later." Then i was cut off.
Now it was a 08456 number, so do i end up paying for nothing?

And if there is such a "High Demand", What are IPC doing wrong?, and surely i am not the only one on here that has this problem??

Would'nt bother if I were you, you'll just get more slabs broken by the postman's bike .. she's an awfie heavy lass!

Apologies for any problems. The response times of the subscription fulfilment house with regard to email and telephone have been raised and are being looked at right now.

Did you subscribe at the show?

I've just heard that there has been some kind of delay with the show label run for some titles. I don't have further info at this stage but if you want me to raise issue please PM me with your name and address.

Yes you pay a national tate that IPC will get a rebate of between 2- 4.5p if they have the right deal

I got mine today. When my 3 year sub finishes I guess I will not renew but nip down to the news agent and buy one when the notion takes me.

Is it not easier to forget subscriptions and just buy from the newsagent, that way you can also flick through both mbm and mby and see which one has the articles you find of interest that month before buying.

Cannot always get the mag at newsagents have to go to WH Smiths and even then cannot guarantee so I have to subscribe

Really want to subscribe to Boatmart as I think thats a good mag tried to do over the web but their site did not work.

Still haven't received mine either and I did not subscribe at the show but have subscribed to MBM and MBY for many years...

I think Kevin has a valid point. I have read the last couple of issues of MBY and have found it to be quite interesting. Due to my copy of MBM being regularly late I think I will sack the subsription next time and do as Kevin suggests.

I agree the service that some of you have been getting of late is below standard, an opinion shared by the publishers of our titles.

Response times to email and phone enquiries are being questioned right now. If you used the email feedback system from our sites ou will have noticed we automatically copy publishers so that they can keeo an eye on comments and the number of them.

We are also seeking answers as to why boat show orders were despatched late.

Apologies on behalf of the magazine team here -- I can assure you we are pushing for improvements from our supplier.

Well I think all these moaners ar a bunch of tossers anyway .. my mag arrives on time and I've never had my slabs broken. Do'nt kowtow to 'em jist give to them straight. They wo'nt respect you otherwise .. a we bit o' discipline is needed ye ken!

Quite right. Wingers the lot of em. All four of my subscriptions turn up on time everytime, yet I still have to read the regular monthly winges. Stick em down in the dungeon for a month on bread and water in solitary, and they'll be grateful for any mags when they get let out /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
