As you know from the successful resolution of your daughters Halls of Residence problems, using the right channel is far better than firing off angry protests. You could have just PM'ed Kim, and asked for some assistance some while ago, before it became a getting mad issue.

I always telll my customers to email or phone me with little issues, as they are simply resolved, and I give them a real telling off if they come to me with a huge issue that's been festering for months, that started as a little one. I have the authority to get things resolved quickly. I suspect in things like this, so does Kim.

Funny you should mention freebies. I went to the buffet lunch ran by MBM at Southampton BS - offer included a MBM nagigators bag - letter sent out after the show to say they were out of stock but wold be delievred by beginning of December - still waiting! I won' t be going to LBS one! Who wants a bottle of ginger wine!!!

Oh, What have i done? You don't want any freebies anyway, They only result in damage to your property./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

I could sell you a new Yachting World Umbrella if you like, Though./forums/images/icons/wink.gif

I changed banks two months ago and changed my DD mandate but have not received either MBY and MBM this month. Think I will cancel and renew at the Boat Show

Latest news

I believe you have spoken with Fiona at our office this morning? Correction: apologies it was someone else but info below applies

The bag is not forgotten but the additional supplies that have been ordered, as explained at the show and by the subsequent letter, have been delayed beyond the originally hoped for early December delivery.

The envelope is waiting with you name on it; as soon as the bag arrives it will be despatched.

Apologies for the delay.

....and I give them a real telling off..........

So what sort of sales methodology is this then? Any sales oik that tried this on me would find himself moved to another account pronto. But perhaps you were just exagerating for effect:-)
