IOW volvo service agents

Anyone Heard of Motortech, PowerplusMarine and Islandwide Marine as approved Volvo Penta Service agents? Any info welcome - PM me if you like...

Powerplus Marine are (were? haven't looked down there lately) at Cowes yacht haven and haven't heard anything against them.

Don't know of Motortech over here, but there is one at Port Solent I think.

When we had an engine problem this summer when visiting IOW (Cowes) we used RHP Marine who are just by the chain ferry in Cowes. Really good service. Nice peole to deal with.

I think RHP are actually Yanmar agents - or they certainly were when I had a Yanmar.

Try PM'ing VOLVOPAUL of this parish. Not sure if would / can travel to IOW but even if he did and you paid his ferry costs, I think you would finds his rates would still save you you a tonne of money.

(PS Not on commision, but I know he works a lot around the Southampton / South Coast area and he did a magnificent service job on my engines earlier this year.

Certainly seems like they cover most stuff but they finally solved my VP problem after three weeks of problems and three engine failures. Top marks to them.

Thanks for all the info. A boat I am looking at has had VP engine services done by all these - just wanted to make sure they were all known and legit... Heard that Volvopaul was good...if I take the vessel, then I will certainly speak to him.

I have in the past used Powerplus Marine, Islandwide Marine and Volvopaul..............Out of all of these I would recommend Volvopaul
