Just bought a new TV/video,works OK on my 350watt Sterling inverter but I am getting 3 black lines going up & down the screen. Anyone had any experience of fitting a filter or something to overcome the problem.

My extremely limited experience with cctv indicates that you may have a grounding problem - ensure all earths are connected.

No experience with a filter but I do have a similiar problem with my tv/inverter combo. Two thin horizontal lines about 1/4 and 3/4 down the screen, didn't happen on my 14 year old Ferguson portable but does on my new Toshiba. Guess the newer TVs are more upset by less than perfect electricity supplies.
