You didn't, but Charles Reed did. He said "Not a good idea, to charge through an inverter and normal charger." Note full stop; no conditionality to that statement. If he'd said 'For the OP's circs I think it better not to charge through an inverter and normal charger." I'd have no cavil.
But let it go; we are probably all in violent agreement anyway!
