Boat is out of water for another two weeks and I was hoping to strip all antifoul off of iron keel, prime metal and then re-antifoul underside and keel. Problem is its cold out there this week with forecast max of 8°C and Interstrip information suggests 16 -27°use. Anybody any experience of using InterStrip at cold temperatures? Would I just be wasting my time and money? Should I just patch up keel and relaunch this year and hope for a warmer period next year?

I dont see any mention of an application temperature range on the product data sheet http://www.yachtpaint.com/MPYACMDatasheets/Interstrip_AF+eng+A4+Y+20100721.pdf

I think especially with the iron keel take to it with an angle grinder with course sand paper type disc on a rubber backing. This will clear out the rust as well as a/f. Then rust converter primer etc. Might need warmth for coatings though. good luck olewill
