I hoped to finish my clean up off today by completing the antifouling to the underside.

Yesterday I applied two coats of Blakes boot top paint from the hard chine below the waterline to the top of the old line of antifoul, it is brilliant white and finished great with a small foam roller.

Today I masked up the trailer and rollers and forward vee on the hull and poured the Interspeed white out into the tray and it's grey in colour nowhere near white!

It apperars having checked the website that it turns white when immersed, it's going to look very odd though sat on the trailer for the next 6 months.

Any ideas which brilliant white AF paint I can use, to complete the job, using the Blakes boot line will be expensive, it doesn't go very far.

Anyone need 3/4 tin of Interspeed dove white, will need collecting from Wilmslow?

First point the max immersion times for both paints is 3 months!

Why have you used the Blakes boot top. The Interspeed Ultra is suitable isn't it?

Anyway it will look quite smart with it's white boot top over a grey bottom. Not odd at all. My boat has a white boot top over a blue bottom.

We will have a poll to see what others think

Thanks, but for me it's got to be white, it's not a big boat and there is a lot of it out of the water most of the time.
