Planning a trip to Cherbourg for next weekend and looking forwards to best weather predictions.

I love the format of magic seaweed but find I cannot print the contents of the charts. I can get the surround but not the chart.

Anyone know whether these are "protected" to prevent printing and are there any similar sites where you can print similar charts?

thanks

pressed print screen and it did nothing. Will try pasting but this command was not available on rt click.

Have you tried it yourself and managed to print it?

Thanks for your really helpful reply.

Personally I try to see what the weather could possibly be so that I can plan alternatives and then monitor it over a few days to get an idea whether the forcast is steady or unpredictable. I can then get an opinion on its likely reliability.

Well done for increasing your number of posts by 1.

I find that Paint, copy or Paste is not highlighted to be able to use these commands.

I can print the screen but not the picture in the middle which is the bit I want showing the Grib details. I can print off the synopsis charts from other sites but no grib datails.

If you follow the instructions provided by jb2008 SK700 you'll find it works perfectly.
Don't try right-clicking or copy or any other method you normally use, just follow their instructions to the letter.

I do this all the time with Magicseaweed

I've just tried it with Magicseaweed. Right click the image and select "View Background Image". This will open a window with just the image. Then Print. I'm using Firefox but other browsers should have the same options with maybe different names.

As far as I can see the 5/7 day forecasts are hopeless but that is just an opinion.(I used the 5 day one once & nearly came unstuck). Now I use the 3 day one that I think is great but I still keep an eye open. For a certainty try the following.....

It is ideally suited to use on a boat

Yep cracked it thanks. Any advice on how you get an internet page sized to fit on 1 sheet as often I get the RHS deleted.

Whilst you have it in MS Paint, click on "image" then "stretch/skew" and reduce the size in the two stretch boxes by a percentage.
