Hi has anyone any experience of renovating the 1970's type wood look interior of their boat. I am looking to maybe lighten it up a bit. If so any suggestions on products to use. Ideally dont want to change doors etc so either something that paints on or overlays would de good thx

I veneered mine with real oak from robbins timber. Stuck on with evo stik and rolled with a seam roller. It's about 1-2mm thick. Looks perfect.
If your boat is mostly teak you can use teak veneer instead of course, negating the need to do small fiddly bits.

you can order the 3M DI-noc book with all the examples of architectural finishes. Its not quite cheap, but you can have a look at all the wooden
laminations
