Intermediate Powerboat or Day Skipper

Hi All, am just thinking of the next RYA course to do and wondered what peoples thoughts on these 2 were.

Have a 28ft Bayliner and intend to spend this season around Devon & Dorset coast but want to head off to the Channel Islands and France next season.

Thoughts welcome.

I've not done either of these courses personally, but from the syllabus I'd reckon Dayskipper would probably be your better option.

Dayskipper better suited to the type of boat you have and planned trips.
Intermediate is based more on open sports boats , ribs and coastal cruising by day.

Which ever one you decide on have fun.

Ditto. The DS has the navigation content that you'll need for such planned trips.
