Interesting possibility..

Yes,that’s what was initially attractive but without more info on the underwater bit ,cannot see it being anything but a smooth water boat without too much wind

Ok I take onboard your comments, will investigate more.

I believe it's a Kirie 'Fifty 23'. There was a whole series of Kirie Fifties from 21ft (older model I think - different shaped coachroof etc.), 23, (24?), 27, (33?), and 40. I haven't yet found a picture of the underside of a Fifty 23, but all the others I've found have a long fin keel of modest (but not excessively shallow) draft. Looks a good arrangement to me for the type of thing.

Not the most elegant of yachts in the shorter lengths, but 'purposeful' looking, and one can sit in comfort on one's spacious small boat and look out and admire the lines of others' cramped and/or outrageously expensive boats. :)

With that shape under water, she's never going to be quick, but I reckon she'd get you home long after you were wishing you hadn't gone out, and she'll keep you dry with that wheelhouse. The only disadvantage is that she'll need legs to dry out, but she shares that with most boats
