Interesting boaty pics from Vancouver

I took over 1700 pics, I could fill this forum for years. Will post some more next week.
I have been lucky enough to go to some very nice places on holiday, Vancouver Island in particular beats the best a country mile.
+1, it's a lovely area indeed.
Looking forward to seeing more of your pics, here's my 2c with some other boaty bits from the very same area...

Very interesting, it was j pod we were following. We have been to Maui, didn't see any humpbacks as we visited in October, but a lovely place!

The big male from J pod came over to a friends boat a couple of years ago and just "gently" pushed it up after looking at him from the side. It (the boat) only weighs about 15 ton and he said it just shouldered it up about a foot on one side.:disgust:

Got to see them this year.

Tom.

Make sure you visit Gibsons Landing, along the Sunshine Coast.

SWMBO and I are building a house overlooking Keats Island. We pegged out the walls last year and found a bear had come and crapped where our living room is going to be!
Further up the coast is a place called Sechelt and behind there is a large seawater inlet, I forget the name. Very sheltered. Masses of wildlife – porpoise and orcas especially. The water has a few hazards. Because they tow huge log booms down to Vancouver you can run into deadheads – escaped logs – the beaches are full of them too.
The plan one day will be to shop our Sealine out there. I am really starting to love the boat. The original plan was a to get a Heard 28 gaff cutter and transport her, but the 365 is just such a great boat, and far more practical.

The plane, the bus and the RIB that is bigger than them all....

After a couple of weeks off have been a little busy, But I said I would post more pics, pics around the same time of the "wot now skip" pic. The bus was actually waiting for the Coho…
