Meet the owner a few years back, very interesting guy, he told me he had it made just to piss the carpark wardens off near where he lived, no numberplate, no name, no parking ticket!

Any road vehicle must be approved and registered. Several routes to approval, and for one-offs and very low volume, individual vehicle approval (IVA). To get an IVA things like brakes, lighting, emissions, visibility will be checked. Therefore this "vehicle" will not be compliant.

It would be interesting to see what would happen though, if you drove it up a slipway and parked outside the pub while you had lunch. What would they do? clamp it? tow it?
Probably get the police to do you for no MOT or something..

I was aware of the Sealegs ribs but they're a bit ugly and the tank track idea looks more scaleable. I can imagine the system in a much larger boat.
Anchorage a bit windy? park on the beach for the night...
Need to scrub the bottom? just park up and break out the pressure washer..
