Hi
I would like some advice on getting insurance for my small river cruiser
I have a 7m steel cabin cruiser with a old watermotor petrol inboard on a pontoon mooring on a tidal river it's probably only worth £4K - £5K
Where would be the best place to go for insurance ?
Will I need a survey?
If the river is tidal is this still classed as an inland waterway ?
I purchased the boat cash and have spent the past year renovating I have no clue as to the year as I have no paperwork will this be an issue ?
Anything else I should be thinking about ?

You should have no difficulty in getting third party insurance, but insuring the boat all risks is likely to be difficult and is likely to require a survey.

Craftinsure will accept boats of 23' and under without a survey! Maybe a careful measurement?
