am thinking about changing my boat insurance away from gjw the premiums have shot up to over £300 for the first time on my atlantic clipper 36 does anyone have a favorite they would reccomend?

Every year I compare Bishop Skinner's (RYA choice) to GJW and every year GJW are more expensive.

Fairly sure you know this already - but slow on the financial side meself, I was surprised how quick my insurer was willing to drop the price when I said I was looking for other quotes -didn't even have to find a competitive one. I was so amazed I did it when the house came up for renewal and got a couple of hundred knocked off. Worth a try -and especially saves the hassle of shifting to new insurer - and from bitter experience, the cheapest may not be the best when you need it. I'd always prefer pantanius but can't afford em.

Yes, I do the 'rounds' most years but Bishop Skinner always end up getting my business. Excellent response when I made my only claim too.
