Insurance renewal

Just received insurance renewal notice from Pants and whilst there are almost certainly cheaper options, the increase is a mere £24 over last year even including the legal cover add-on not taken last year so will not be confused by meerkatting around or singing opera.

I have just paid more than last year by 8% per £1k sum insured for the same cover with the same insurer.
But last year was a very good deal so I can't complain. I have paid less than two to three years ago.

I made a couple of other enquiries . One was quite a lot higher and not willing to negotiate. The other never sent me a premium proposal.
