Insurance qoutes

Interested to know fellow members experience of boat insurance. As decided this year to get alternative quotes, and surprised at the wide variance in cost. Realise the cheapest is not necesarily the best. But the difference is significant ie from £430 to £650 for a Sealine S34.

£560 for 2003 S34 with kad 32's, right in the middle.

Try one of the net based marine insurance companies.You will save whatever your local broker will have charged in commisson.A search on this forum will produce loads of info on this subject.Comes up about once a week.

I have used GJW for years and found them to be helpfull and fair

I, too, used GJW for years and found them to be good, but last year they seemed a tad high so I shopped around and found Navigators & General about £200 cheaper. And this year the premium has stayed the same!
