I've got two possible dates of build for my old boat, (Hull built 1958-Launch 1960ish) either one puts her in the "old lady" class. Can anyone reccomend an insurance company that does not see this vessel as an increased risk, She had a total rebuild in about 1995 including a new keel and bottom, (4mm Steel and built like a brick outhouse). All the reccomendations on the pre purchase survey have been carried out. Cheers in advance. Mike.

you are gonna have to get a copy of classic boat and look up the insurancy peeps in the back. Yours will be normal and new in comparison. Mind you, bit worried about the style of construction - is it one of those quite boxy ones with a concrete roof and distempered interior walls?

Hi Tiller Girl, gave them a ring this morning and they would not quote because of the age of vessel, but thanks anyway. Mike.
