Instruments Old Princess

We have a Princess 30 DS on two Volvo AQ 151b Petrols. The gauges are all rubbish telling us nothing. One tacho seems a bit believable as does another temp. Should we change all the senders or spend a lot on having the instruments checked. For those who don't know the boats the installed panels have Rev Counter, Oil pressure and engine temperature

Yes I know them well, and yes id look up VDO on line and request a catalog, you can get all new senders and some nice gauges for not a lot of money compared to Volvo prices at dealers, try ebay as well.

And Volts ?......Have you given everything a quick once over .Remove panel and check all connections are tight esp.the panel common earth wiring.Then lift the engine lid and check the connections esp. to the iffy rev counter are they secure and not in anyway corroded.
