I'm getting the hang of parking my targa 33 but i'm not there yet and i want some help.

After a day messing about yesterday i realise that i'm not picking up as quickly as i need to. I can park a yacht anywhere but this two engine thing is all new to me.

I'm based on the Itchen so need a local instructor who can come out with me for a day or two and polish me up a bit.

Any recommendations please folks?

I don't want to just go and pick off the internet.

A bit about me...i spent 7 years being a sail instructor for Southern sailing but moved to power last October. So i know my way around the Solent pretty well and i know which end of the boat is the front.

I can park my targa but not in tight spaces and i'm still not happy with how wind and tide affect her.

Over to you folks.

Five star marine (solitaire on these forums) is based on the itchen and comes recommended.

I used Steve Jones (SEJ on here) when I bought my Azi to teach me the finer points of mooring my new boat. He was brilliant. Based at Poole but happy to travel to Southampton.
