Hi,
We have finally stumped up the money to buy two nice new selftailing winches, Antal W40ST's, to replace a pair of old Barient 22's. Naturally enough the bolt patterns do not match, so our question is what is the best approach for installing new winches?
The existing winches are bolted through teak desk plate (which runs the length of the cockpit), through the GRP then (presumably) through a backing plate into some nuts which have been glassed in on the understide of the GRP.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff.
