Hi,

I've found insert bushings in two different standards DIN 7965 and DIN 9058 and I wondered if anyone can tell me which of these is equivalent to A4 stainless, if either ? Or do these standards relaet to something entirely different form the material the items are made from ?

Thanks,

Boo2

DIN 7965 (screwed inserts)[1] seems to define measurements only and I can find them in brass, steel, galvanized steel and various grades of stainless (Inox A2 mostly).

There is no DIN 9058. I think you got that mixed up with some product numbers.

So if you want DIN 7965 screwed inserts made from marine grade stainless steel, you'll have to go search for that. Terms to use would be "marine grade stainless", Inox/rostfrei/stainless A4 or SAE/AISI 316. Good luck!
