inland waterways to the black sea

I have been told that PBO published a long article of a trip via inland waterways to the Black Sea but have been unable to track it down - does anyone have details?

Have you tried contacting PBO direct? They are usually quite helpful, although you may have to buy back issues with the topic in it.

Not quite what you are maybe looking for but you might be able to follow the route taken by a teacher in a mirror dinghy and retold in 'The Unlikely Voyage of the Jack de Crow' by AJ McKinnon.

Another couple of books are :-

"Backdoor to Bysantiam" by Bill and Laural Cooper
"River danube Guide" by Rod Heikel

The Cooper book is an excellent read, the Heikel guide is interesting but the maplets not very good.

Both are available in Aladdins Cave at Chichester the last time I looked.
